This is a nice pen, and has a good quality for the low price. If you have large hands this may not be good for you because it has a thin body. The black and gold look very good together. I wish this pen varied in thickness, because that is why I bought a fountain pen in the first place. It does not vary in thickness with how much pressure you apply, which I am disappointed about, but other than that a very good pen.
Excellent in all respects

I have bought a number of pens from different manufactures. This one really writes very well. It's very smooth. It's not scratchy and does not leave ink drops. It is a comfortable weight. It only took 2 seconds to get this on started for the first time (impressive). The design on the pen is good looking. This pen beats the more expensive pens that I have and it will probably become my favorite.
Great pen

This is a REALLY nice pen. I own over 200 FPs and this one writes as good as the very best, and without having to make any adjustments to the nib whatsoever. Flow is excellent. I inserted a cartridge and immediately started writing, no coaxing required. It also looks really nice, good fit and finish, not heavy, feels very good in the hand. I highly recommend this pen.
Note that the nib is between F and EF. This pen writes better than any of my other EF pens. I love it.
Note also that it will not take full size international cartridges -- almost but not quite. You need the smaller internationals or use the converter that's included.
The price on this is ridiculously cheap, especially since it comes with a converter. Now that I know what it is, I'd gladly pay $50 for this pen if I had to.

Good but potential difficulties for some

This is an excellent pen for it's price. However, I have fairly large hands and the length of the exposed end (the part which holds the "feed" and the "nib," I think it may be called the "section") of the pen is too short to accommodate my fingers without my feeling jammed up. The small bevel against which the cap rests (the joint between the "section" and the "barrel", which is a prominent edge) ends up being exactly where I want to place my fingers around the pen, so that after writing for awhile it becomes painful to me. Otherwise, I love this pen. It's odd, though, because I use many different kinds of pens (for writing and art) and I've never had one with such a short "section." I don't like the look of the "hooded nib," but it doesn't impact anything but its appearance, so far as I know. I wonder if it could over time impact the ink channel, but I really don't know.
great value pen

I have been pleasantly surprised by this pen. I've been using it for a month and a half now and it has not disappointed. It's a bit narrower than your average fountain pen, but if you're used to ball points the size is similar. The nib sizing is more on par with German nibs than Japanese, so be aware of that before you buy one. It's similar to a Lamy extra fine or a pilot medium, which is a good size for me. It writes very, very smoothly and the semi-hooded nib helps keep it from drying out while writing. The all metal body is durable and stylish. The cap is a bit stiff, but it seals very well and keeps the nib from drying out. I picked it up after two or three weeks of non-use and it instantly wrote as well as the day that I inked it up. I am very happy with this pen.
