I am a newbie to tailgating. My son just started college and we wanted to attend some games. We were excited to purchase this flag set up, as we can carry it in the car, set up the base when we wheel in to our parking spot. Then we can affix our American Flag and the college flag under it! I love the fact we can fly 2 flags on it. So simple to set up, so easy to transport. My only wish was that they had a carry bag for the extra pieces to keep them in one place, versus having to use the cardboard box as a carry unit. Overall love it! It flies higher than all the rest!

We were setup and had a pretty bad storm blow through. It held up to it. People here at the campground said they thought it would be found on top of someone's car or camper.

The base and the flag/flag pole arrived in separate packages on separate days. Yes, the base is a little weak to support a 25' flag pole all by itself. You will need to secure the flag pole additionally if you have high winds. Use care in going through the packaging. The white PVC pipe is needed to go into the base so the flag pole fits tight. The plastic gold ball and flag clips are embedded in the foam packaging. Look for them. We bought this to use as a temporary radio antenna and it worked fine. The twist locks for the 5 sections of the flag pole tightened fine and the antenna stayed the full 25' up. We did fasten guy lines in case of high winds, and we lowered the flag pole at night in case high winds came up overnight. If you are going to secure this with the back tire of a pickup truck, two 14' long ratchet straps to the diagonal stake holes should be sufficient for high winds. The adjustable nature of the twist locks allows infinite choices for the height of the pole. When raising and lowering the pole, use care not to pinch your fingers between the twist locks.

this pole seems sturdy enough, have had it up in some pretty high winds with two flags on it. My only concern is the plastic parts the flags clip into. I left the ball off the top of the pole because it looks a bit flimsy to be hauling around in the storage area of my camper. Drive on stand is stout. Not unhappy with it, but time will tell
