I really like the Ortleibs best but I really like the Ibera's ...

I bought these before I bought some Ortleib's.. I really like the Ortleibs best but I really like the Ibera's too. In fact, their now my front panniers.. If it's not raining or wet out I actually like these more as their easier to get into and pack stuff in.. I don't know.. Do like me and buy a set of both.. Two sets of panniers don't go to waste on my bike, I manage to fill them all... Luxury cruising for sure.. Oops.. another hill... gotta go..

This is a great pannier by a great company.
Great product: The bags are semi-rigid, so they stand up even when they are empty, they stay open as you load them, and they don't flop around if they are half-full. You can use one pannier or both. There is a rigid handle to carry each pannier with, and, to attach it to the bike rack, while holding it by the handle you just lower it one-handed and the clips snap on to the rack, where it is held securely. When you want to take it off, just pull it by the handle with one hand and, with one finger on your other hand, you flip the little orange lever you can see in the picture and the pannier comes right off. They set low on the rack, which helps keep your center of gravity low, and which means that you can put some other bag on top of them. They are fairly waterproof as is, but they have covers which should take care of deluges.
I had a problem with one of the latches after the return date had expired. I emailed the company. They responded immediately with a fix, no run around.

This is the best bike paniers I could ask for! They fit plenty of stuff for both my 3-day and 2-week long bike trips. I like how they disengage easily, most of the time. The waterproof cover is perfect and does a great job of keeping my things dry during rainy weather. Definitely worth the cost, these bags will last me years if not decades.

The only issue I have with these is that they are too short for my rear rack and the arm on the bottom clasp doesn't swivel allowing you to connect to a sidebar. I had to rig some bungie cord to keep it from flapping up on the bottom. This might not be the case on newer racks that have a closer cross section. These would work much better on my front rack. Regardless, quality is nice and i like that they came with the rain covers. Good pack-ability as well for longer overnight trips.
