They won't change your life, but ...

I've had these clippers for about 3 years now, and even though they won't change your life, they are FANTASTIC nail clippers.
First, they are big. Second, they are VERY sharp. So those tougher nails are no problem, very little hand strength is necessary. And the large size doesn't cause any problems for the smaller nails. As an added benefit, the emery board also is the sharpest I've ever seen, it never loses it's edge, and the way it's positioned on the main body of the clipper instead of on an extension as I've seen on most others, makes it very easy to use.
Going on like this about nail clippers seems silly, but these are great clippers!

ClipPro Is the Best I Have Tried

As a result of tearing a nail when I used a drugstore clipper (I had always thought people who talked about actually tearing a nail were being a bit dramatic - but it happened to me), I ordered several clippers of different brands - for toenails and fingernails, straight cut and concave. The ClipPro's (ClipPros?) are the best of the ones I ordered. All were around the same price as the ClipPro, give or take.
I'm a typical guy, so I don't know one end of a good manicure from the other end of a horse; so all I can do is describe my experience with clippers.
The jaws are sharp, which I guess you would expect. The lever is good and firm. On another brand, the lever was too flexible, so the lever almost touched the back end of the clipper as the nail was cut; and I don't have extremely hard nails.
The hole near the end of the lever provides a good, non-slip contour when you are using the clippers. No slipping; good control. Solid, comfortable, and sharp.
I really don't know what else to say about a pair of fingernail clippers; but of the four brands I bought recently, I like these the best.

Does a great job. I hate clipping my nails, and this makes it much easier than the generic kind (which sometimes bend or slide in my hands because my nails are a bit hard).
Probably user error, but sometimes clipped nails will fly across the room if I'm not careful. I'm still experimenting, but using "upside down" (lever part facing down) and into a garbage can seems to help get things in the right direction.

Gives me that clean, super straight salon quality looking cut to my finger nails before I polish them. I have thick, tough nails, but once they grow out they get caught on things & break, so keeping them a reasonable length is a must. My usual brand wasn't available in a store, so I figured I'd give these a try. These give that clean square cut. After I cut & polished my nails, someone asked me where I got them done! When this pair becomes dull I will most likely buy another pair. They shipped promptly, arrived well packaged, & I would recommend these. If you found this review to be helpful, please vote helpful. This is a larger than standard nail clipper that is very sharp and works well. I have arthritic thumbs and I have no trouble using this. When my husband tried it, he liked it so well, he asked me to order one for him as well. I also like that the file is imbedded in the base, so it has no separate sharp file that might cause it to be confiscated by TSA agents prior to a flight. (The reason I had to buy a new nail clipper is that my old one got confiscated by TSA agents last time I flew.).
