Very useful for crown molding cuts, protractor helped a lot with corner angles.

Like pretty much everybody else mentioned, this is a great tool. Sure you could make a crown molding jig out of plywood, but for less than $20 why bother. I liked the fact that the molding is placed bottom-side down unlike some of the other ones on Amazon -- it's much easier to visualize it when you don't have to think upside down and backwards. Team this up with the FastCap Crown Molding Clip and one person can put up crown molding in 1/2 the time.

Was doing a basement with crown installation off of the ceiling. This did work really well but i probably would have done a better job with more practice. Definitely a 2 man job to install.
