This salad spinner is great. This is our first salad spinner, and it does what it says it does. I like that it has a brake, and it's very easy to wash the lettuce in the green bowl, put it in the clear bowl, and spin it. You may have to empty the bowl a couple times, though, because it really gets all the water off.
This spinner is also great for storing salad, it lasts longer in the fridge than in the plastic containers you buy it in.

This really does extract the water from my lettuce and I use it daily. There is a little bit of wobble that you have to watch for though. It does the job and quickly. It is more compact than some of these spinners, but fits almost half a head of lettuce at one time. This meets my needs as far as size. If you need to spin more than 1/2 a head, just pour water out and spin another wedge. It's very fast.
Does the job effortlessly, yay!

This smaller Culina is a wonder. It's def large enough to dry herbs, produce, & it's clever design (with the fold away side handle) makes it a breeze to store! I have also used it to dry spiralized vegetable noodles. Excellent. Because of the clear bottom bowl, you can actually view the water drop off to the clear bottom bowl, then voila! You're ready to serve fantastic salads, sprinkle dried herbs to soups, or, as I do, double dry spiralized zucchini, jicama, beets, for all kinds of dishes--way beyond just vegetable noodles with sauce, the best recipe spralize books, "Inpiralized," by Ali Muffucci, & "Inpiralize It!" By Kenzie Swanhart, offer ideas for fritters, roasted beet salads,& much, much more. The baby Culina serves up, as promised, dry veggies, which are always key to a fab dish your guests or family will love. I also purchased the 5 quart Culina, same expert design, for when I'm prepping for parties. Always a winner with the side crank. Go, Culina, don't mess around with the top pump like spinners. Get this one: whether the 5 quart or 3 quart, these are the real deal!

Made it about 6 months. We were not rough on it. I'd buy a different product. About to do that now myself.
Didn't get me dry lettuce, and 3-quart size was too small for entree salad for 1

I got the 3 quart salad spinner and wasn't that impressed. Other reviewers said the 3-quart size was plenty big for 1-2 people, and since I'm just 1 person I thought it would be big enough, but it really didn't fit that much lettuce. Maybe they meant for a small side salad. I like the design (both visually and for physically turning the crank), but it didn't get my lettuce dry. It was a disappointing purchase.
