It's OK. Probably the best thing about it is it's light. It's not as easy to play as my comparable plastic and ceramic alto c ocarinas. The finger holes could use some indentation to make them easier t find. The sound is OK. I now have four 12-hole AC ocarinas. My favorite is the ceramic Focalink by Songbird.

Very good sound, quality wood and very simple to play. 1 week into ocarina practice (had a cheap 8 hole plastic one) and I can play the simple version of the song of healing. The only cons have been stated in other comments below. Like the saliva build up, but you will get that with any wood instrument. Only thing its missing is a triforce haha.
