Works perfect in my application. I have it wired in the back and under a shelf in my built in garage cabinet. When I slide the door open the LEDS wired to it come on. If no additional motion it will turn off after some short period of time. When the door is open the light comes on as I approach the cabinet.

Nice unit. I have it in line with a LED strip light on my stairwell. Works great. My only wish was that I could adjust the distance of sensitivity. It picks up movement across the room and I would prefer to wait until the person is closer to the stairs to turn on.

This was very easy to install. I bought this to control a set of under-cabinet LED lights that originally came with just an on/off control switch. I simply connected this in-line between the AC adapter and the LED lights and now have motion controlled lights (meaning they turn on when someone enters the room and turn off after a few minutes of someone leaving the room). This motion sensor has a reasonable detection range and I really like that the off delay time is adjustable.
