This is one of the few mouthwashes for people with dry mouth. Tast is okay and it really does help with the dry mouth especially at night

Does what it promises to do. The viscosity of the biotene takes a bit to get use to. Maybe adding a color to it would help. The color and viscosity reminds me of spit and made me gag until I got used to it.

I'm surprised to be writing this because I was a zealot for the old Biotene with enzymes (this one doesn't have enzymes), but this one actually works just as well. There was a Biotene version for a while that I didn't like, but it seems that this is different and a big improvement. Maybe it's placebo or my taste is changing--I don't have the previous non-enzyme formulation ingredients to compare--but I think this tastes great and it's definitely very effective for my dry mouth at night. I take medication that results in very severe dry mouth and this helps me sleep much better by taking care of that so I don't have to sip water all night. Strongly recommended.
