The tag itself is great so far. The rivets are not really rivets. For one of our dogs, we replaced the rivets with real rivets and the tag hasn't fallen off. The other dog, we used the rivets that came with it because it was a smaller collar. Unfortunately, the rivets came loose and fell off.....leading to the tag falling off and is now lost. I would recommend using your own equipment to adhere it to your dog's collar. Otherwise, so far the engraving on the one tag is still holding up well.

Tag was perfect though lettering smaller than i had hoped for tag size but appears will stand up to the wear and tear my farm dogs will put it thru. The rivets it came with were weak and one was crushed already when i got the package so I have not been able to install on my dogs collar yet. If the rivets were sturdier it would rank higher..so it's still sitting in an envelope on my table until i have anytbing else needi g rivets as no sense in buying a package just for this.

Very pleased with my purchase. I had a similar product on my German Shepard's leather collar for 14 yrs. I tried to buy a similar piece at a pet store for another dog and found the rivets were too flimsy to hold the info plate and ended up using regular hardware which projected too high above the collar. Recently bought the dog a new leather collar and wanted what I had used before. This is a heavy duty leather collar and I had no problem installing the ID plate on the collar and the rivets are very strong. I am very pleased with the product and I received my order very quickly.

This ID tag is great. For some reason, one of my dogs cannot keep a hanging tag on, so I've had to change to tags that attach to the collar. This is a solid feeling tag. The predecessor (also rivet-on) for this tag was much thinner and the rivets felt flimsy. The engraving on the LuckyPet tag is perfect: no spelling errors, correct info, and easily read. I emailed the folks at LuckyPet to provide the info that would be engraved on the tag. In this current age of "don't call us, we'll call you," it was really nice to get a quick reply. The instructions were easy to follow. One suggestion for making a hole in a nylon fabric collar: use one side of a pair of needle nose pliers. The tip is sharp to pierce the fabric and pulling the fabric down over the wider section, stretches the fabric to place the rivet.
