not that great for kayaks

Paddle very hard to use on a kayak as it needs to be directly behind the stern to keep it from going in circles. Much to hard to alternate sides to keep going straight. Great item for a rowboat.
YaaAHOooo ! Let 'er rip Vern.

Yup, attach your cordless drill and off you go ! 3 things to note here....it does work quite well. It will only work as well as your drill and battery allow. You need a cordless drill with at least 1200 rpm and above. And finally you really need to use a CORDLESS drill or a really really long extension cord. And finally there is no paddle its a propeller. Although you may end up using it as a paddle when your battery unexpectedly runs out and the spare is charging on the shore. But yeah it pushes pretty darn good doubt it will pull a skier or wakeboard unless you have a trained squirrel. Have fun !

Works as advertized. The limitation only being the drill, the battery, and the intelligence of the person using it.
