Installed and used the Haswing Cayman 12volt 55lbs thrust bow mount trolling motor. Came with a wired foot controller and a wireless remote. Wireless remote working distance is amazing. Wired foot controller is big but nice to operate in shoes. This Product is awesome in my opinion. Strongly recommend at this point. Used it for about 5 hours in the water. Also my 8 year old used it easily. Also played with it in the yard multiple times and not once has the wireless remote lost link and still have not charged the batteries in remote yet.

The motor is very well built and works great.
1. The shaft is as stout as an 80 lb model.
2. The lock and release are large and easy to access.
3. Small things like a cover over all mounting hardware and a finish ring inside the forward portion of the pivot arm all add up to and impressive and well fit device.
4. The battery terminals, the foot control lead wire as well as the coiled motor control cable are well thought out.
5. It has a surprisingly low draw on the battery. I used it for 4-hours and it used so little battery I did not have to charge it when done.
6. The motor deployment is very nice and is not a struggle as is the case with some motor controlled electrics.
Note: be sure to lock the collar on the motor when not in use. The motor deployed when I met some heavy oncoming waves while under power with my outboard. I was at an idle resetting my drift and the boat jarred. I was not moving fast and did no damage to the motor or the mount but was very surprised by the deployment and will never stow it without moving and tightening the retaining collar again. Even when, as was the case here, I will be going a short distance at low speed.
The foot control connections are very similar to other brands and does have a nice waterproof lock. I have a 16 foot boat and the supplied cord easily reaches the rear of the boat. The control itself was a bit large for my foot, but the control buttons on the foot control were spaced well enough and so clearly marked that it made no difference. The speed and battery indicators on the foot control are a new must. Great thinking!
