Good product. It’s nice that we can reuse this

Good product. It's nice that we can reuse this. The cold brew comes out with a little more sediment / fines than paper filters, so if you want to avoid that get eh Toddy Paper Filters for your 5 gallon brewer.
Best way for large batch cold brew

I've been using this for 3-5 gallon batches of cold brew coffee, and it's so simple. Filters out 99% of the solids, and any little bit of "sludge" left can be left behind in my brewing bucket when transferring to a keg.
So much easier having cold brew on tap now, rather than making 32oz every day in mason jars.

Great filter

I used to use disposable filters and continually reorder. Now I just turn this inside out and rinse off the grounds and hang it to dry.
Excellent all-natural filter

Eliminates finer sediment than paper and avoids a possible source of chemicals in paper. You just have to get used to what a cloth coffee filter looks like after a while, even with the recommended boilings. Storing it wet in a covered glass dish is best. Putting a half teaspoon of Smart Colloidal Silver in the covered dish's water keeps it from turning if you don't use the filter for a while. Clear "colloidal silver" products and silver protein products don't persist to prevent spoiling.
This is the best way to brew large amounts of coffee

This is the best way to brew large amounts of coffee. No messy filter pads or corks to unpop. Just get a large bucket or a drink dispenser with a spigot at the bottom. Placed the filter inside the bucket and filled with filtered water, then added the coffee grinds and gently stir until wet. I then let it set for 12 hours and then place my drink dispenser below it and release all the coffee. There is never any grinds or fine sludge at the bottom! You can't beat these very well made filters! I have used mine for over a year. It rinses out easily(we save the grinds for our garden). I found the best way to clean these after multiple uses, especially since the oils in the coffee will stick to the filter and build up , is to boil them. I do it several times and rinse and you will be amazed how clean these can get. Do not use bleach or any soap to clean as this will leave a residue of taste no matter how thoroughly you think you rinse them!
