I bought this for my wife (an RN) to use primarily for friends and family. According to her it is working very well. Although she realizes that the cuff is a "standard" adult size she has commented that it could be a bit bigger for some of our larger family members.

I purchased this set along with the purple MDF Acoustica Deluxe stethoscope, and I must say that they work perfectly together. I work at a dental office where I take manual blood pressure all day, and this BP cuff works excellent! I also like the fact that it comes with the carrying bag so that I can store my BP cuff and stethoscope together.

Ordered this to self monitor BP as digital units prior have reported pressure incorrectly. My first manual Sphygmomanometer. Accurate and put up against a recent physicians in office Sphygmomanometer. Both physicians unit and this units' measurements were nearly identical.

Advise reading the cuff size specifications and measure your arm circumference prior to ordering. If you are within 2.54cm (1 inch) of the maximum cuff size, consider ordering an additional larger cuff (as I had too), otherwise the readings will register on the high side. With that said, swapping the cuffs is a bit cumbersome, as twisting off the tubes and reattaching takes some effort (at least the first few times). if you must use multiple cuff sizes, be advised this minor difficulty. Knocked off one star as switching cuffs is a bit cumbersome and perhaps could have provided some type of "quick-disconnect" (minor issue). Note, the tight tubing connections is a "good thing" for security (so tubes do not fly off of course), but wish there was an easier way to disconnect/reconnect. My long term concern is the tubing may stretch and weaken with repeated swapping of the cuffs. Time will tell.

I purchased this for my daughter who is currently in nursing school. She wanted a blood pressure cuff to practice with. She said it is a little stiffer than she is used to using (but that is only because it is still so new). She said she does like that it is accurate and it is a bonus that it came calibrated.

This manual B/P monitor is excellent. I use it at the hospital where I work. It is a great fit for all my patients, and I only have to check the blood pressure once to get an accurate reading. It arrived ahead of schedule. It was packed securely, and it exceeded my expectations.Thanks MDF.
