As a former Midwest bartender, married to someone who had a tavern in her family, we were familiar with Beer Nuts for many years. We used to buy them locally but they eventually were not stocked in the stores where we shop. Buy them on Amazon said the wife. We bought a few cans. We no longer drink alcohol but the Beer Nuts were still tasty. We now buy them in six packs. Beer nuts, that is. Still a favorite in our house.
Nuts are great! Too much non-nuts in can.

I've loved Beer Nuts since I was a little kid in the 60's and my dad would have a beer and a bowl of Beer Nuts while we rooted for our Big Ten team. (He shared the nuts, not the Stroh's!) My issue is that the bottom-quarter of the can isn't nuts, it's "shake""”dust made up of dried peanut "skin," and salt and sugar. I had to run last quarter of the can through a sieve to avoid eating 1 peanut and a tablespoon of Beer Nut "powder."
