Bought this for my 7 yr old son and me to build together. He's pretty coordinated but it takes some skill to hold the small bolts and nuts in the sometimes tight places. But that's what the experience is all about. It also teaches patience. So far, only made the airplane, but it fits together perfectly, the instructions are clear. The finished model is something they'll be proud of, strong and weighty. The only downside is that although the box shows about 10 models that can be built with a single kit, only 4 or five can be made with the included instructions: the rest have to be downloaded and printed from Inet. Not a huge problem but c'mon, just provide the instuctions!

I purchased the set for my 7-year-old but she is really too young for it. The models are quite sophisticated and require patience working with the small parts. Still, she was happy to help and has enjoyed the plane we put together. I can't wait for her to grow up a bit more.

Grand Kid Loved It. He sent me a picture of the complete races he built. He was very proud of his work...
So proud he doesn't want to take it apart and built the other items.
Lots of parts that need to be put together, cannot be done fast... Will keep them busy for a long time.
