Coffee nirvana! I bought this for my son who has trouble with very acidic coffee, and we both have been looking for an organic coffee that would really taste good and meet the low acid criteria. The first pot we brewed we brewed weak. Yet, it was surprisingly delicious. It had a mild vanilla after taste and while weak, (our fault not the coffee's), it was quite nice and palatable, both black and with added cream and sugar. The next pot was brewed by my husband who prefers his coffee so strong it doesn't just stand a spoon up, but actually might melt a stainless steel spoon. So, it was brewed VERY strong. Again, delicious! More robust flavor, of course, but did not taste at all overly strong so it suited both his taste and mine. You cannot make a bad pot of coffee with this coffee! We've tried it french press, drip, hot and cold. It's like drinking desert. There is a mild sweetness to it and a definite vanilla or caramel after taste that lingers pleasantly in the mouth. Normally I drink one cup of coffee a day, this is more likely going to be one pot a day. To put the cherry on top, the price was right too! Amazon had it to us quickly and well packed. Today I ordered my second bag so I can send one to the Ukraine with my son. Are they in for a taste treat!! As for me, my coffee search is over.

Soooooo disappointed in this coffee. In whose mind this is good I can't possibly guess but I was lured in by the ratings, the fair trade, the organic, etc....fool I was. The good news is, it forced me to do some research online as to how coffees are rated, grown, roasted and so forth. I'm MUCH smarter consumer now and will never make this mistake again!

Terrible cup of coffee, tasted like burnt ash. So many good reviews, doesn't make sense.

Really good coffee that is kind, from an acid standpoint. My wife has lifelong stomach issues and coffee tends to really give her serious indigestion if she has more than a cup. Yeah, not good to be a coffee addict and have serious stomach problems! Tried Puroast and almost too flat of a taste. This has been great for her. Good flavor and the ability to drink multiple cups without the issues that other brands have. Only issue I could mention is the bag we ordered and got was 'best buy March 2017' at the end of March 2017. But, we have half a bag left and it's still fine. I'm sure a fresher bag would taste even better.

This "coffee" is terrible. It has absolutely ZERO flavor. I'm very disappointed because I had high hopes.....now I'm stuck with 2lbs of this stuff. I'll never buy this again.
