It was for my son who is a freshman at college. He says it has enough space, but he wished it had wheels on it or at least on one side. It would have made a lot of difference pulling it with wheels then having to carry it full of stuff.

These trunks are pretty and seem sturdy. They "may" not be the trunks our parents used to migrate from other countries which were passed down from generations but I do really like them. Like them enough that I have bought three of them. Great for storage and very presentable. Very roomy! The only thing is that they were shipped with the preinstalled rails for the C&N Footlockers Glide & Go Tray. They can get in the way of maximizing for storage of boxes, containers for memorabilia, toys etc. I really think if they ship them with the rails that they should include the C&N Footlockers Glide & Go Tray tray as well. The rails are installed under the metal frame so no easy removal with out damage. For the price just include the plastic try. I do really like all three of my trunks!

Lockable spacious

This trunk arrived in excellent condition, was well packed, and arrived promptly.

This was a frivolous/midlife crisis buy.

I've always wanted a foot locker since I was a kid. Never got one. Then I had one of those "Wait, I'm an adult, I can eat ice cream whenever I want" moments and bought one. I love it.

I originally found the excuse to buy one to use as an ottoman/foot rest. When sizing the piece I used my giant camping cooler that had roughly the same dimensions. I got the foot locker, and ended up keeping the cooler as a foot rest as it stored snacks very well and hermetically, and ended up actually using the foot locker for its intended purpose. I put all the stuff I use frequently but have just been leaving out in it. Now all that stuff it organized, protected, and out of sight.

Some things I didn't realize when I purchased it:

The entire thing is clad in steel. I know it said so in the description... But this thing is ARMORED.
And...
Magnetic! You can stick magnets to this. Super handy, especially if you have cats.

But what about the paint you ask? I hoped I could actually ding it up, distress it a little abd give it some character. Nope... this thing must be painted with the same indestructible material they use on refrigerators that we all take for granted. I've dragged rare earth magnets all over this thing and have yet to see a scratch. I've dropped plenty of stuff on it too. Nada. Same thing with all the hardware. I've filled this thing up and had to drag it around, those handles are going nowhere.

If you need a place to store stuff or need to dump a body in the ocean, this thing is perfect.
