I bought the large bottle of this morasses to use in my coffee and a supplement for my goats. Blackstrap molasses is high in vitamins particularly iron. Package arrived in good condition with no leakage.

As a gardener, I aim to find ways to build better soil quality. Healthy soil results in healthier and more resilient plants. I discovered information this year on the benefits of using unsulfured blackstrap molasses in the garden. (Molasses products used in the garden must be 'unsulfured'). I have banana plants and I've been experimenting since Spring with applying this molasses, mixed with some liquid fish fertilizer, diluted in a gallon of water, to the base of each of them. The sugars in unsulfured blackstrap molasses benefit plants indirectly by feeding the beneficial microorganisms that live in the soil. Soil that is abundant in beneficial microbes is healthy and helps plants thrive. Blackstrap molasses also contains a number of beneficial nutrients for plants including potassium, magnesium, calcium and iron. My banana plants look really amazing this year with thick sturdy trunks and huge lush green leaves, even throughout a very hot Florida summer and many windstorms. I attribute my banana plants looking this good to the addition of Golden Barrel Blackstrap Molasses.
