My brother is a chef and he absolutely loved these. Great Christmas gift for those who can't visit home

The only way these three could be better is if all three were the soy sauce. The soy sauce is my absolute favorite soy sauce that I have ever tasted. It has such a great flavor, especially since it is aged in a bourbon barrel which adds subtle hints of extra flavoring. The other two sauces are okay. The Teriyaki sauce's flavor is not really what I am looking for in that category. It's more garlic flavored then teriyaki, which I love garlic but that shouldn't be the most forward flavor. The Worcestershire sauce is a potent potable. If you love Worcestershire then you should really love this stuff. My favorite part of all Worcestershire sauce is the fact that one of the ingredients is soy sauce. So again I love soy sauce but really wanted to try all three from this company. The soy is best at 5 stars. Worcestershire is good, but strong, I'd give it 4 stars. The Kentuckytaki is only okay, this is 3 stars. It was good for marinating though, so keep that in mind.

Pretty good stuff IMHO. The Soy Sauce may not meet the gourmet Chinese levels and is definitely sweeter than the Dark Soy Soy Sauce I had to compare it to. The sweetness is a good thing when adding to rice, noodles etc. The Worcestershire Sauce is a little sweeter than the L&P product and frankly not as astringent. So it is a matter of taste. It works well on a pan fried steak. Use a little of both as they are 1. expensive and 2. They can overwhelm the basic flavors of the dish. The Kentucyaki is a product unto itself. Don't expect the grocery store teriyaki product taste, that is why they don't call it teriyaki. Makes a good marinade for meats, chicken & fish. These are good products; note to the Northerners & Californians; Southerners like their sweets: sweet teas, sweet mint juleps, coca-cola etc. So sweet Bourbon Barrels Sauces are no exception.

The sauces are delicious. Our only issue with the order was that the teriyaki sauce leaked into the bubble wrap surrounding it, even though the top appeared to be securely closed. We wound up losing about 1/4 of the bottle (but it sure made the box smell amazing!). The bottles were well wrapped so there was no danger of breakage and we really love the taste of all three.

Bought these sauces as a gift for a really good family friend who is a great cook. He tasted them immediately and LOVED them. He used them to make the dinner we shared with our family and everyone was hooked. They each have a very distinct and flavorful taste and each sauce brought the meal to life. This is a great set and I will be ordering again soon.
