I have not been able to use the generator yet ...

I have not been able to use the generator yet. It would not start. I have to take it to a shop to have it looked at. It appears that the spark plug is not firing. I do not know if it is just a case of a faulty spark plug or shorty workmanship. Either way, I purchased it for a specific reason and was not able to use it, which caused me quite an issue.
I would not recommend this product and if it was designed in Japan ...

This generator would not start. After I poured some gas in and primed it as per the instructions I noticed a strong oder of gas. I open the side cover and observed the gas line was split along side the carburetor. I fixed the split but it would not start. I read to troubleshooting guide but I had no luck. The instruction manual tells me to call a service representative but I could not find a number. I returned the item and bought a Honda generator instead. I would not recommend this product and if it was designed in Japan they must have been drunk.
