Perfect for first time tip dying

For just dying the tips, this was perfect. We used the method where you put hair into two braids leaving how much you want to dye out at the bottom.

Then I bleached the hair that was out with Age Beautiful brand bleach (you could use whatever. Sally Beauty has a few different kinds of powder bleach in little packets that are about 1 oz and less than $10, and I used their salon care brand 20 vol developer which is about $4. I still have quite a bit leftover too. By the way, Sally Beauty is the Home Depot of hair, and you can ask employees for advice and how to apply something.) I wrapped the hair in foil after saturating it as much as possible. After it was bleached as light as we wanted we washed it out.

Then we actually ran out of time that day and just let the hair dry, and the next day we put it back in braids and saturated the dry ends out with the arctic fox virgin pink dye. Make sure you wear gloves and hold foil under the hair, and then wrap it up. You don't need developer or anything. I used a dye brush to apply it. After maybe 40 minutes we washed it out and voila!

So the first pic is the day after using it. She had gone swimming once since we used the dye. The second pic is about 5 or 6 days later after a few times swimming and a few showers. It's still pretty, but we are going to reapply pretty soon.

This was just perfect for a first time extreme hair color, and just doing the tips made it not a super big commitment. Good luck!
Good Hair Dye, Time It Lasts Depends on Color

I've been dyeing my hair myself for the past year. I've bought a variety of colors: black, purple af, wrath, ritual, and most recently phantom green.

Wrath was probably the one that stayed vibrant the longest on my hair.

I dyed my husband's hair green a few weeks ago and it didn't last as long as some of the others, but it did last a few weeks before needing to be re-dyed.

Overall, good quality hair dye.
Fantastic color, bleeds like crazy

I loved the color this gave me, however every time I wash my hair a ton of color comes out. This is slightly normal, but if any of the water from my shower collects around bottles, it leaves a red ring stain in my shower.

Similarly, if any stray hairs end up in the shower, they also leave a red stain if not removed immediately.

Bleach isn't even getting these stains off, so beware!
It's great, but...

You have to have like super blonde hair for this color to take well and even still, it doesn't last as long as majority of the Arctic Fox colors. Not a color that I'm planning to purchase again but it's great for those of you that like to change their color often.
Good stuff: Easy, good color, no damage, no smell, color lasts

I wanted purple to brighten up my faded-brown and grey, and someone recommended Arctic Fox. I didnt want to do it myself, so I went to a salon and the hairdresser made my hair magenta, for an outrageous price! Later I bought a blue Arctic Fox to mix blue with pink and try to get purple. It worked, covered the magenta and resulted in purple. Then I bought purple and it's great! The purple and blue on top of magenta resulted in a bit of a tri-color effect; mostly purple but bits of blue or magenta here or there when I guess I didn't get the purple on evenly.

Just squeeze it thru your hair - it doesn't drip much, wait around a half hour, rinse and shampoo and you're done! NO odor. NO stinging. It has lasted a few months. I skipped the cap and hair dryer and the cold water rinse, I sat in the shower and just squished it through my hair and waited about a half hour before a warm rinse and then shampoo and that was that.

Now it's time to renew my driver's license and get a new photo. I don't think I should do it with purple hair so I want to go brown again. Naturally it was light brown with maybe 30% grey. That's beyond my ability, and I think light brown won't cover the purple. but I'll try it with a medium brown.
