Color is way off. When you are looking for a hat to wear outdoors in the summer the lighter the better when it comes to color. This one is a very dark probably 4 shades darker than it should be.... the photo is probably close to a Pantone 15-1216... but what we received is much closer to 17-1019... So honestly while I don't expect an exact match to the color of a product I don't expect it to be that much darker than it is supposed to be.
Other issue is the hat arrived flat as a pancake... now the box it cam in was big enough for it to have been sent in the appropriate shape but for whatever reason they sent it flat and now I have no idea how to get it to take back any of its shape on the crown.
It is cheap, but honestly I wouldn't' recommend it for those two reason.

I order a LARGE and it fits perfect. You can wear it as displayed or button up the sides, the material used for the hat feels a little rough kinda like Dickies Work Pants but wont feel it once you put it on. Also brings an adjustable plastic neck clip, for super smooth adjustments.

I love the hat, it's works wonderfully well. I got the large and it's snug on my noggin. If I had a rope tape measure handy I would tell you how large my head is, but I don't. The material is really nice. It's thick and durable. The snaps on the sides were a little off on mine, not allowing it to fold up to the sides evenly, I'm assuming some worker just make a silly error and punched the rivet in a bad place. I don't usually put the sides up anyway, but it's a good hat. Just go with a size bigger than what you think you need is my only suggestion.

This hat is dorky looking but it's exactly what I needed to protect the back of my neck and the top of my ears from sunburn. Those are the first places I get sunburned and the most sensitive. As I get older my skin is more sensitive to the sun. I've already had surgery to remove a couple of skin cancers and I need to be extra careful in the sun. This hat gives me the protection I need. The material is thick and my head sweats when I'm wearing it but I'd rather sweat than burn. This hat is well made and should last a long time. I do not recommend washing it in a washing machine as it will shrink and the brim will lose it's shape and stiffness. For best results wash by hand and lay it flat to dry. No animals were harmed during the manufacturing of this hat.
