Needed some leather for a craft project. This was a thinner hide than I really wanted but I solved that with some black 'foam' craft supplies as a backing. Price was reasonable for what I needed and the leather itself was decent quality. If you're looking for thick leather, you'd have to double this up as it is thin.

A beautiful piece of leather. Cut straight on two sides. Even color, no holes, no blemishes. I went around the perimeter with digital calipers and got 1.3 - 1.4mm with one small area off the main field 1.1mm. Maximum square 33"x34". Very happy.

I had review it because of how great the quality of the leather is. The describition was spot on. I normally buy my leather locally but such a specific color like burgundy is hard. Also other sites want $50+ for the same thing and I didn't need much. If you have small-medium size projects you need to make this will do and for $20 is well priced.
Thickness; is not real thick but it is thick enough to have a lot of uses.
The Grain; it's not nappa leather but isn't very grainy, you can see the grain and it isn't overwhelming which is exactly what I wanted. Quality; as I said before it's not too thick nor thin, grain is medium, color is spot on. No defects such as scratches or holes. Suede portion was also spot on so you can use any side of the leather.
I'm definitely coming back for more!

I have a new craft project going, and to be honest, I was not sure exactly what I was getting when I ordered these leather scraps, nor if it would fit my needs. I am THRILLED with this product! It is exactly what I was hoping for, and the leather is of very good quality (smells so good!) and the size is perfect - exactly as described! I highly recommend this leather if you need a good quality, beautiful product that is fairly heavy.
