This is my 3rd Emjoi product to purchase. My last product was less painful. This one seems to smart a bit more than the previous Emjoi products I have owned. I really like the small size, but I also which it had a light on it. It is a great little epilator that will probably last a few years. I really like this brand out of all the others I have tried!

As good as can be expected. It's not the best for my bony calves with fine hair, as it misses or chops some hairs, but I'm assuming my technique is a little bit off. I did it on my thighs rolling it very fast in long, repetitive strokes, making them 100% hairless. Anyhow, heck, this thing is uniquely amazing in a different way - I wasted no time trying this thing out on my pubic hair and it wasn't so bad personally. I have tried shaving, sugaring, and this is the most efficient, painless (in the long-term), and effective. Of course, it is still painful. Pain is pain when you're doing something as completely unnatural as pubic hair removal, what do you expect. Pulled the skin tight and it removed the hair from the skin on the sides of my pubic mound. Left a very small amount of blood or a heavy inflammation because my technique was poor but what little bleeding there was clotted instantly and disappeared, so that was alright. It amazed me when I realized all this skin was smooth and nothing terrible had happened yet. Followed up with some razor bump formula so as not to have any skin problems and so far it looks pretty good. I look forward to removing more of the hair. Excellent investment. Would buy again.

I am so happy with this product! I originally ordered it from the Emjoi website, but was very disappointed when after 7 days it hadn't even shipped yet! It was a treat for myself that I ordered for my birthday and I ended up tired of waiting for it, so I cancelled the order. I ordered it here instead, and it came it 2 days. I am so happy with it. I will never go back to shaving ever again. Once you get used to the feeling of epilating, you will never go back. I have been epilating for about a year now, and my leg hair has become so much finer, and most of it doesn't even grow anymore. It's awesome. I use it probably once a week and I'm good to go. I like the size of this epilator and it came with a cute little carrying case. I still have to pass over the same areas a few times to get all the fine little hairs, but that's ok, I am super happy with it.

This is my third epilator in 10 years. The first wore out after 3 years, the second was cordless, which seemed like a good idea, but the cordless ones won't work when plugged in (and I don't take long enough showers to epilade in the shower anyway), so when the rechargeable battery wouldn't hold a charge any more, it was toast. Took about two years for that to happen, at which point I gave up and started shaving again. When stubble and expensive razors got old I bought this Emjoi. I love it. Maybe I am just happy to be getting rid of hair cheaply and at the root again, but this thing makes me happy. I have only used it about 5 times so far, but this is what I have noticed:
1. It is powerful and the tweezers work well.
2. You can use it in a circular motion which seems to get more hairs.
3. It's very compact and easy to hold and store.
4. It doesn't need to have the limiting guard on it for it to be comfortable to use (you know after getting used to removing hair this way!) so it feels like it pulls more hairs in each sweep than the ones I have had in the past.
5. Easy to clean.
6. Works well on legs and underarms, haven't tried anything else.
7. A 20-30 minutes leg session once every 7-10 days keeps me pretty clean.

The first day I got it I epilated my face and chin. I have mostly light peach hairs with some darker more stubborn hairs that usually had to be tweezed by hand, since hot wax seemed to never work. This epilator was able to remove everything. Yes, it was slightly uncomfortable in some sensitive areas, like above the lip, but it was easily done after taking a deep breath and relaxing.
It will not cut or pinch your skin.Once I realized that it won't hurt me in that way, I was okay with the pain. The next day I spent a long time doing my legs and then armpits. The legs were initially painful especially around the ankles and thighs for the first 2 or 3 times. I now don't feel any real pain and even quickly do my bikini area. The same goes for my armpits. Removing hair from the armpits was of course initially painful, but very worth it. The hair coming back is less thick too.
As a note, I had knee surgery last year, so my pain tolerance maybe higher than most.
I have owned this for a little over a month. I think it works great, but wish it was wider to cover more surface on my legs to waste less time. I love epilating because I don't have to remove hair everyday like with shaving. I also am saving a ton of money not buying expensive razors.
I do experience very red swollen spots on my legs and armpits. It's not anything to be scared about. I epilate at night and put a good natural aloe vera gel and 100% apricot oil over the affected area and by morning most of the redness is gone. I repeat the aloe gel and oil again in the morning and by the next day my skin is back to normal.
I think if you can handle the initial pain, it's worth not having to remove hair everyday and saving a ton of money by not buying razors.
