Update: reduced to one star. Attempted to catch and relocate 3ft chicken snake. Snake coiled around it & even with lock on worked his way loose. I was very fortunate it wasn't a venomous snake or I could have been bitten. Do NOT trust your life to this.
Haven't had to use it yet but have practiced a lot with a garden hose. Purchased this after a 4ft snake was in the dog run with the dog. Feel a lot better & safer having this now. Snake season here in the south and scared to death of them. Now have the confidence to protect us if I need to. All I need to figure out now is what to do once I grab it....
