Johnny's is well loved all around the Puget Sound, and for good reason- their products are a great addition to any kitchen and they offer a wide variety of unique spices. In particular, Salad and Pasta Elegance (or Elegance, as we call it in our home) reigns supreme. It goes with most savory dishes, adding a salt/spice/cheese profile to all kinds of stuff. It goes great with eggs, salads, stews, and just about anything else that needs a little something extra. It really shines when paired with roasted vegetables like asparagus, brussel sprouts, or broccoli (yeah I roast broccoli!)

I used to buy this product at Johnny's restaurant in Federal Way, WA and at local grocery stores in Tacoma. When I moved to Virginia, I thought I'd never see it again. But, lo and behold, here it is on Amazon. A tip -- put it on baked potatoes and cottage cheese. Tastes better than you'd think!

It's been getting harder to find Salad Elegance in my local stores. I bought the 6 pack, kept 3 for myself and gave the others away as Easter gifts.
