My roommate and I have enjoyed this rower for about 1.5 years. We have gotten average use out of it and it is overall a pretty quality piece of equipment for the price! Nothing flashy but gets the job done. The other part that was incredible was the warranty and customer service from the company. The pull cord stopped retracting recently and I gave them a call and they sent out a replacement part right away. I even got a person on the phone and had a quick and pleasant conversation. Just remember to register your product for warranty when you get it and you should have a pretty stress free experience.

received machine, set it up easily enough. Started to use it, tried to set up program to use but it would pause after 30 seconds and the resistance would go down to 0. Tried every way to program so it would not do this but unable to do it. Called customer service and they tried to help me. They were unable to fix the problem, had me take it apart and try to fix the speed sensor. Boy was that a pain. Still wouldn't work so they sent me a new console. Put that on my self and still no luck. Sent the machine back to amazon, lots of fun getting it back into box! I was stupid enough to order a second machine and guess what!!! the exact same problem, no i don't want to push start every 30 seconds while i am rowing. Called customer service again and was just told that they couldn't do anything and just send it back...again. So here I go putting this piece of crap back into that box!
You will regret buying this.

On paper, this thing looks like a great deal. It had all the features I was looking for, at a price point that that's way cheaper than its competition. But now I know why that's the case. It stopped working the SECOND time I used it!!! The resistance adjustment mechanism stopped working because stroke rate sensor circuit failed. The companies customer care was helpful in that they sent me replacement parts. but that's where the help stops. warranty doesn't include labor, which means you have to fix things yourself, or pay someone to do it. I'm an engineer so that wasn't a problem for me, but after getting spares for different parts twice, the machine still wasn't fixed. Customer care said they don't know what was wrong and couldn't help me any more. They told me to return it Amazon since it was still under a month from date of purchase. This is probably a failed product from the company since they don't even sell it anymore. Don't bother with this product.

Easy to use, folds up nicely, and will gone you a great workout.
UPDATE: After having the product for two months, the flywheel broke. We will see how the rower works if/when the new flywheel is received.

I now have a useless $500 machine at home

The rower lost all tension after 3 months of standard use. The display is also hard to read.
