The extra long reach is great, but they machined a void under the rail. That voided space makes it lighter but kind of flimsy.
It flexes very easily. I suppose it would be more rigid after the scope was mounted. Also the allen socket on the screw rounded out with the provided wrench. I chose to go in a different direction and use a shorter more rigid mount.

Not very stiff; poor finish; wouldn't align well

As others have noted the finish isn't great with some bare spots. It somewhat appears cast then painted not anodized.
End is somewhat rough cut - which speaks to not much actual milling machine time.
It's not very stiff at the extension. You can push on it and flex it. I was very concerned about putting it in my soft bag for fear of bending it permanently or at least knocking anything out of alignment.
Returned.

Great product for an AR pistol. I bought this for an AR pistol that has a 12 slot rail on the top and no rail on top of the hand guard. I was able to install a pair of backup sights and a holographic sight between them.
Puts your Optics closer & helps keep some optics from getting hit by shell casing ejection.

I am using these on my Hi Point 995TS Carbines, my AR-15's & I'm trying one out on an ProMag/Archangel conversion stock kit for one of my 1942 Mosin Nagant M91/30 rifles.
As for stability, it's made very well. It's thick, so there's no scope movement & since it's so long, your optics are close enough to the eye.
They do come in 3-different lengths. I'm going to get the 2 shorter one's so I can match them up, for myself & so I can recommend them for others.
I think price wise they could do a bit better but that wasn't the issue I was concerned about. It was the length I both needed & wanted. On my Ruger Mini 14, casings that were ejected actually hit the scope. If I had this rail extender, it could have brought my scope further behind the receiver, allowing enough clearance. I hope that I touched areas that some of you need help with.
