Cheaper than box stores and 1 inch, which is really hard to find. Box stores are great for 3/4 or 1/2 inch fittings, but not 1 inch. It is also much easier to find the fitting on Amazon instead of standing in the isle searching through boxes that never have the correct fitting in them. Quality is great and have had no issues.
