These are ACTUAL dance shoes. They are made for indoors and for dance floors only. The fastener is different, somewhat intricate - not straight forward. They are lovely shoes to look at but not what I needed for my daughter's wedding. The review that said they run small so go up if you are a half size was completely wrong - I would have been better off going down a size because my foot is swimming in the size up. Unfortunately, I did not know how to return them since I have never returned anything from Amazon before so here they sit, lovely & unused.

I actually got these to go with a flapper dress, and I think the look works rather well. The shoes are also more comfortable than I expected they would be - I decided to start breaking them in early so I wouldn't suffer at the party for which I specifically bought them and wore them on a shopping trip where I was up and walking for hours. They started to hurt a little towards the end, but I was extremely pleased. The shoes are super cute and festive, and I'm excited to go dancing in them! Oh, one thing I didn't expect (which I guess is a common thing for dance shoes?) - the buckle slides into a bracket, it's not one continuous strap buckling you into the shoe. That surprised me, but it made no difference. I buckled the strap at the hole I thought most comfortable and slid it into the bracket and the shoe stayed on securely.

I liked it very much but I bought a 7 and it was too large. even though i wear 6.5 to 7 street shoe sz. don't have narrow feet; rather more on the medium to C width. This show is on the broader side and works well for my kind of breadth. I have returned it via priority mail and there was an US address where to mail it. Thank goodness as mailing to China would take way long! That's where it cam from! But I Loved the color and design and will buy it again this time in a sz 6. It is closed in front which protects my toe nails while dancing partner/social latin dances.

The shoe is lovely and the height was perfect to wear comfortably for the whole evening. The only MINOR issue I had with the comfort of the shoes was that the toe box was a tiny bit tight on my wide, chubby toes. It was nothing significant, by any means! The champagne color worked beautifully with my dress, which was a salmon beaded dress with a nude under layer. Oh, and I did cut the strap once I decided that the length I needed was shorter than what came on the shoe.

Great price, good design, a PAIN to wear! I love heels, but something about these just put my weight in the wrong place. Got these for my wedding. I think the lower heights would be better (my friend got the identical shoes with a lower heel), but at the height I chose they were super intense. A heavy wedding dress didn't help much. I bought inserts for the ball of the foot, which helped a tiny amount. Cute shoes, but unfortunately couldn't wear for more than an hour or two.
