Very useful for an amputee! The genius part of the design of this stool is that it only swivels if you force it to do so. That way it allows you to shower without constantly moving one way or another. But when you need to swivel to get in or out of the shower, you can with a little effort..... Very smart! Small footprint, adjustable legs, very sturdy! This one is a winner!

Perfect sized bath stool. Well made and sturdy with strong adjustable height legs. Does not slip around in the tub yet is easily repositionable. I really like the swivel feature although I took away one star because on a couple occasions I've noticed a slight pulling on my skin when I swivel. This is NOT pinching or painful but more like friction when the blue swivel area turns but your skin "sticks" to the white stationary area as you are swiveling. This has only happened a couple times and in no way would prevent me from buying it again. I only mention it so that others are aware, especially if they are helping bathe someone else. This appears to happens when the stool is dry so make sure the stool is wet where it makes contact with your skin before swiveling. The swivel feature is still something I really like and I would still highly recommend this product.

My husband uses this in the bathroom and it's been working out great for him. We had tried wooden seats but they tended to fall apart quickly. This is pretty sturdy, turns so he can easily get into the shower and was very simple to put together.

This stool is great for the bathtub, it is the correct width, and is easy for my mother to use to swivel. Luckily, at 84, she is able to lift her feet over the tub wall to get in and out. This stool was very easy to set up, and adjust.
