I bought this because the water dam I originally had came loose. I have a roll in shower for my husband and need a water dam to protect my floor. This one is even better than my original. First of all it is higher than the original. Secondly it goes up the side of the shower so I can tuck my shower curtain behind the shower bench and it stays put. This was a problem with the original. Third, it collapses easily when I roll the wheelchair over it.
To be certain it stayed in place I used Gorilla double stick tape. I also had to purchase a entrance ramp because the last dams placement was lower than this one. Probably why it didn't keep the water in. I love my set-up and it works perfectly.

Works as advertised; just one problem. The dam prevented water from going into bathroom floor, but I had to chalk shower side after 3 days. Leaked under the damn. The adhesive seal did not work!
