This does not work at all. Under tha cabinet or freestanding. I contacted the manufacturer to and they said to ship it back at my cost and they would work on it. $79 later it is on its way to California from FL. I guess I expected they would send me a new one and I would send back the lemon in the same box with pre-paid shipping. Waste of time on a poor product with poor customer service.

1 Year later and this thing is still awesome, it just produced two beers that were cold enough to make me write a review! We were looking at a $900 GE and decided to try our luck with this at 468 last year. If you read good reviews youll pick up a few tips, heres what i did, first cut out the sides of the cabinets you are sliding it in-between, even a 2'×1' hole helps a ton. Mine is a triple drawer base cabinet on one side and a big sink main base cabinet on the other so i cut out big rectangular holes. Next, dont over fill or leave empty, dont cram 50 warm drinks in and crank it to max cool either, once it gets cool your good, mine stays at 37 degrees dead set unless i leave the door open a bit long or add a lot of room temp drinks then maybe 38-39 tops. We have water bottles at the very bottom then a box of Capri suns and then 6-8 beers, which unfortunately dont stand up well on the wire racks other than that we love it!!!!!!!

Great little cooler, but it stopped cooling after a couple months. Would only lower the temperature to about 55 degrees. I returned under the warranty. It cost $150 to send to them. They said they could not find anything wrong, but sent me a new unit and they paid for the return shipping. Hopefully new unit will not have similar problem.

after 10 months this unit stopped working and SPT warranty is not worth the paper it written on. In order to get a warranty repair I will have to ship my beverage cooler across the country to Calif. for repair and have to pay the shipping cost $95 each way and God only knows how long this will take.

It's a nice looking refrigerator however it is very loud and condensation builds up on the glass door and drips on floor.
