This is a great door bell. I like the fact it has the hardware connection. The web interface is also like most IP cameras if you have done IP camera setup. I would recommend this door bell.

I didn't want an old-fashioned gate controller that requires an old-fashioned telephone line to control it, as almost all still require. This doorbell/gate controller, after a bit of a rough product start, is finally ready for prime time. After the REQUIRED firmware upgrade to current version, you will find this unit to be the most modern, flexible controller on the market that allows customization and no monthly fee. Warning-- you need to be a bit of a techie to not be frustrated with install and setup. If you are, you should do fine. Latest firmware allows my NVR security cam system to record and detect motion etc. I have two. One is via WiFi, the other is via Ethernet.

There are still a few features missing...ability to lock open my gate, for example. They may be able to solve this via software on the app at a later date. Nor can you create "guest" codes via the app. All codes are created at the box itself and must be manually deleted. This is a hardware limitation apparently and can't be solved. But the other features compensate for this shortcoming IMO.

The distributor is a Canadian company that is focussed on customer support, and they do a very good job responding to the customer. But they clearly are dependent on a Chinese manufacturer so GBF is queued behind an unknown number of other distributors (I am guessing!) So not sure how much clout GBF has to get features and bugs fixed. Keep hoping the gate lock issue can be resolved.

I asked for help and rated it below average because I couldn't find a better way to contact the seller.
Also the manual with the little short videos on YouTube are not enough to help me install the device. After 3 weeks, I worked it around and I finally be able to make it work.

Very satisfied about this, and it will batter if they we can change the access code remotely from the phone.

Since first day I received, the customer support for this product has been excellent. The guy explained me at the beginning some points for the correct installation and configuration.

Then, after a couple of months, for some reason the LAN port of the device stopped working. I let them know about this issue, and after verifying all the troubleshooting options, they sent me a replacement. This company takes care of their customers. The device works fine again. It shows a decent video resolution, kind of complicated user guide (at the beginning) but it comes easier after some time you familiarize with this product. Needs improvements with Audio (kind of low in my opinion, both ways). The app didn't ring in the new NOTE 7, but I know they will take care of it. Bottom line, it's a great product, it comes with all the mounting tools, and great, GREAT customer service.
