This backpack is better that some that cost 2-3x what this one does!

My son got his first DSLR for Christmas this year. And needed something to carry it and all the stuff he got with it.
The Costco near me had and still has a camera bag similar to this one, its a bit cheaper, around $45 and is no where near the quality of this one. But lets get onto what this review is about. The padded section for the camera is built extremely well, feels extremely well protected. And the last thing you want is your $1000 camera and all of your accessories to get damaged. As for the other part of the backpack, the main "Backpack" part of it is pretty roomy and fits his Sutofoto S40 Steadycam with its carrying case inside of it, with no worry of it getting damaged. The Laptop part of the backpack is HUGE! It fits our "family" laptop which is probably 15.5 inches. Which only one of our laptop bags can carry. But this thing feels much safer than that and we might just end up using this backpack to carry it around on vacations!
The Straps on the backpack and extremely comfortable and support a lot of weight easily. It also helps that the backpack is pretty big and spreads the weight of all of your stuff. I saw that some people had a problem with zippers unzipping and there is non of that on mine. Every part of this backpack is amazing. This backpack should cost around $100 but only costs $60. A must buy in my opinion.
Very Utilitarian Camera and Extra Clothes or Lunch Backpack.

I bought this so I can carry my camera and extra rain gear or lunch when on a hike. I seems well built with no evidence yet of seams loosening. The padding is very good and the sections are removable or adjustable depending on your camera needs. I think the designers should or must increase the opening so it is easier to get the camera out. The zipper just needs to extend down further on both sides. It is a bother to have to rotate the backpack to the front or take it off when hiking, but it is a backpack, not a front pack and it does meet my needs of camera safety and lunch in the same pack. I would recommend this to others needing a dual function camera carrier.
This is probably the best product for this price point

I bought this to carry my Nikon D7000 and a few lenses (Rokinon 14mm & Nikon 35mm) with me when I went on shoots with clients. This is probably the best product for this price point. This was my favorite companion on shoots because I would be able to fit all my gear, including SD cards, chargers, extra batteries, even a laptop and mouse with absolute ease. This is some considerably heavy gear as well, and the straps on this backpack are very durable and comfortable.

You would put the camera and lenses in the front pouch. This is slightly awkward as you have to lay the bag down to properly take and replace equipment without it all falling out of your bag. The pouch does supply considerable amount of space, which can be manipulated via these walls that are held on by velcro strips. It is much sturdier than it sounds, trust me.

I would travel with this laptop 24/7 for well over a year. It held up the entire time. Whether it was a bus ride through the city, a trek through Brooklyn, or an all day shoot where I had to walk from location to location all day--this backpack was my most useful asset outside my camera.
Worth every penny!!!

This is a great backpack. Great value! Feels like a high quality product. I have no issues with material, no issues with zippers. Love how I can easily access my camera from the front pocket. The design is perfect for what I need. I travel for work to locations where we need to photograph and document our projects (electric sign contractor). With this bag, I can carry my camera, 2 lenses, charger, and extra memory. Plus I can fit my ipad pro 9.7 in the Zagg rugged case, my Apple Mac Book Air, and a notepad, along with accessories to charge my electronics and clean them.
Since i walk around a lot for these jobs site visits, the bag is comfortable and with the water resistant cover, I know my gear will be dry.
Comfortable & Easily Fits All My Equipment

Great bag if you're looking to carry your camera and equipment around. I bought this bag after hearing a well-known professional photographer say, "I take my camera with me everywhere! That's where I get some of my best work". I felt ridiculous carrying around a regular camera case but carry around this backpack is more comfortable. It works great for getting all the equipment I need to a photography shoot as well.

I also bought this backpack because it looked like it would be great for hiking. If you're hiking more than 4 miles, then this bag is not ideal because of its weight and bulk. It fit all my camera gear and hiking supplies (see pictures below) but my back started hurting around the fourth mile of a nine-mile trail. It would be better for hiking if there was a waist strap.

The Victoriatourist V6022 Backpack PROS:
1. Lots of space "“ it has 4 zipper pockets. I can fit all of my camera gear in the smallest two zipper pockets. This leaves room for a laptop, lunch, water bottle, and a light weight coat.
2. Designed well "“ the bottom pocket fits my camera, 2 extra lenses, and a flash. The padding inside is adjustable which provides a snuggle fit for the equipment. There is a red netting that keeps the expensive lens from sliding out. Zippers seem to be good quality.
3. Padded, wide shoulder straps "“ I am a tough critic when it comes to backpacks. My back gets sore very quickly from bags that don't distribute weight evenly. This bag does a good job distributing weight. I've carried it around for a week now. As long as I don't over load it (it's a big backpack so it's easy to overload) I am comfortable wearing it throughout my day.
4. Tripod options "“ a tripod can be buckled in on the right or left side of the pack. My tripod also fit in the top zipper pocket (I use a black shoe lace to secure the two zippers from opening). This was an important option for me because I did not like carrying around a second case (camera case & tripod case).
5. Rain cover "“ It's rained most of the week so I use the rain cover a lot. It's easy to put on, doesn't slide off, and covers the bag with room to spare.

CONS:
1. Dirt and debris are hard to remove on some spots "“ I took the backpack on a day hike and small specs of weeds catch inside the texture of the pack. The small debris specs are hard to remove on some parts of the pack where the material has a grooved texture.
2. Open pockets - I am a little nervous about the netting around the open pockets where the tripod is stored. It was a tight fit for the tripod and the netting held up well I just don't know how well it will hold up after years of wear and tear.

Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.
