I purchased this sprayer to replace my Hosezzle Handheld Garden Sprayer, which was a piece of junk and kept leaking all over the place while I was just sitting there on my counter (it ruined multiple wood surfaces and was a huge pain to keep track of). It's been a month and so far this sprayer is a million times better. It's just as cute, holds just as much water, it doesn't leak, the nozzle is adjustable so I can jet water into my frog's water dish, or gentle spray them with a fine mist, and it actually WORKS! I took the foam cover off of the mister because I like the clear look. I keep this in my living room so I wanted a mister that was cute to look at when people come over. The green color fits with all my frogs and houseplants!

I was trying to decide between using a standard Windex-style spray bottle, the cheapie spray bottle with built-in fan, and this mister for spraying down our 10-year olds as they played tournaments in the 90+ degree summer heat.

What I liked: You only have to pump this bottle 10 times and then hold the trigger to produce the mist. The mist comes out pretty fine, so it does produce a nice cooling effect. The strap and carabiner are helpful for hanging the bottle in the dugout. CoreGear's customer service is terrific - I wrote to mention that I was missing a strap and had a comment about the durability and I received an immediate response, even though I sent my message on a weekend.

What could be better: The nozzle is made of plastic, so you can't throw this thing around or let the team play with it - my kid knocked the bottle off of a chair and the impact on the ground was enough to snap the plastic tip off. (well, at least CoreGear sells replacement tips). The thumb trigger is a little narrow and makes it slightly difficult to push it unless you have tiny thumbs. The half-neoprene cover won't help keep the water cold in 90+ degree weather.

Overall: Solid product that really helped us over the last 8 weeks

I received this item today and strongly suspect that it is used, not new. It did not come with a strap or clip, and the first time I pushed down on the sprayer a small amount of water came out. Upon further inspection, I noticed that there was some staining/discoloration on the neoprene sleeve. I am giving this 3 stars because I tested the mister and it seems to be working fine, and I bought this to take to Bonnaroo next week so no time for exchanges. However, I am not happy about paying full price for what appears to be a used item.

Update (July 2017): The CEO of CoreGear sent me a brand new mister, complete with strap and clip. The first (possibly used) mister worked fine, as I said before, but I am updating the review to 5 stars because I think this is an example of excellent customer service. Thank you, CoreGear.

I purchased a Mister many years ago during a festival and it was a blessing! I was curious about a replacement bottle and I found this company. Since we were going back to that same festival I ordered the CoreGear (MISTER COOL) USA Misters 1.5 Liter Personal Water Mister Pump Spray Bottle With Koozie Styled Neoprene Cool Sleeve. I loved it but I loved it even more because it came with a "cool sleeve". My water didn't warm up as fast as one without.

I didn't have any problems with this item. I didn't pay more than my old mister, in fact, it was cheaper than my festival mister. I would order again and tell my fellow misters where one could be found! **Be careful when adjusting (tip of the brass nozzle) that adjusts fine mist to stream because the very tip can come undone and can be easily lost**

This review is for the Coregear Mister Cool. First of all, I received this without the strap. It didn't come with any instructions either. I googled and YouTube on how to use this. I followed their instructions, so did my husband. It's still does not spray. It leaks. So unfortunate, we bought this for soccer games for my daughter. Hoping to use it last Saturday in 104 heat. But it did not work. I asked the other moms that owns this its I was doing it right but it's just really broken. We were very disappointed!! And I would not buy this again or recommend to anyone.
