Nice and long. Perfect for my old Trusted Favorite Hori Hori. The sleeve is nice and stiff/tight just the way I want it, not floppy. The Velcro clasp is a bit cumbersome, I might cut it off, then again it's good security. Undecided on clasp but it is functional. "Safety is no accident" :-D Hard to find locally "Amazon does it again"
