I LOVE MY RYOBI NAILER
Victoria R•December 18, 2017
I LOVE MY RYOBI NAILER!!
We've been doing a lot more reno work on our new apartment and eventually realized that a finish nailer was something that as an investment would make life easier in the long haul. I've done all the wainscotting with this and my husband has used it to build our built-in bookshelves. Next up is the fireplace. I had no issue getting different nail sizes at Home Depot for it.
The only issue I have come across is that sometimes it jams and nails won't fire. You can't see a visible reason why, but if you take the stack of nails out and put in a new one it works again.
I think it's a total cash grab to sell it to you without the battery but I can understand how you may want just the tool if you already have another Ryobi product that has the battery

I really like this nail gun

I have to hit the guide hard against the trim in order for it to be able to activate. If I just gently push guide against trim it does not want to work. I thought it was just the batteries at first but realized they were fully charged. I really like this nail gun, I just think I have a defect
AWESOME! Great for making cat shelves and shelters.

One of my favorite tools! Some folks went in on a deal to purchase this for me in barter for creating cat shelters and shelves for them. I'm still getting used to it but you can use various lengths of 16ga brads. Make sure you get the larger batteries as this bugger will eat the regular batteries like nothing. Great for home repairs like hanging new trim... and even helped me with an emergency roof repair this winter. Worked fine in 10 degree weather, no, it was not a fun day but this tool helped save it :)
Works great for around the house jobs.

Works great! Fired about 100 nails so far to do trim work around the house. A 100 nails didn't even put a dent in the battery which still had 4 bars. Used the adjustments to set the nail depth and off I went. Easy to load Easy to use no problems. It is big and bulky and hard to get into tight corners is about the only downfall I have seen. We will see how it lasts after a couple thousand nails have gone through it.
Works great!

I have been using this nail gun to rebuild a house that was flooded. After installing the sheetrock, I have been using this nail gun to install door trim and base boards. I used it this past weekend for 4 hours and the battery seemed to never lose a charge. I could have used the nail gun much longer. In that time, it never jammed. It drives the nails in with ease every time. I adjusted the countersink of the nails so it did not drive them in too far. The nail gun has plenty of power too. I first tested it by nailing together 2 scrap pieces of 2x4 with some 2" nails and it drove them in effortlessly. After using this for a weekend, I would definitely buy it again.
