Love this!!!! I was not happy with the typical 2-person or 1-person backbacking tents I've used. I wanted sufficient room for 2 people to be able to sit up and be comfortable inside, when confined by weather. I also just wanted more room to move around, but without adding too much bulk or weight. dI spent several months searching online for a quality tent that would meet my specifications, in a price range I could afford. Because this was so very reasonably priced, I relied heavily on reviews. I put it on my List and kept comparing other tents to it. I feel like I hit the jackpot. For 2 people, the wgt can easily be divided between the 2, and it compacts very nicely, I even have room for my added (very lightweight) groundcover, with room to spare, in the provided case. For car camping that isn't an issue, but it just doesn't take up much room at all, when in the case. This is roomy, sturdy and easy to erect. I did mark the undersides of the front and back snap tabs, around the base of the rain cover, to save time when orienting it to the tent. I don't find the vents on the rain cover to really provide much ventilation, just enough to prevent condensation, which I guess is the purpose. As others mentioned, if you don't rush the zippers, and you run a finger ahead of it, as you pull, you shouldn't have any serious problems. The material flap, over the zipper, will catch sometimes if you aren't careful. Overall, I think this is a real bargain for the quality and features you get. If this has the features you are looking for, I would easily compare it to tents twice the price. Highly recommend.

So the title of this item is misleading, listed as "Tent 2 3 4 person 3 season weatherproof". The item I received was perfect for me as a 5'2" female with a 65lbs dog. I can't imagine 2 people, or an average sized male sleeping comfortably since I slept on a diagonal with my average sized mat curled up at both ends. For smaller humans and animal companions, I'd agree with higher occupancy. Otherwise this tent performed great!

The ease of set up was a breeze for one person. The weight is very light, and packs up easily and tightly, looking forward to using beyond car camping! I really loved the rain fly having covered vent options which came in handy during my deluge, and the neon tie cables meant less glow sticks and tripping. I previously owned a land's end tent that I could practically stand up in, this tent did it's job with much less shelter to hulk around.

I got caught in a day-long down pour and the interior remained completely dry, so the rain fly was clutch and the floor base did a great job. I had a tarp under the tent, and as a bit of a novice (4th solo tent trip) I did not spot the ever so slight incline I was set on (nor did I pack an additional overhead tarp/tent/cover), so some of the water did run under the tent from the tarp--- this was not an issue AT ALL on the rainy day, and it was only during the next morning when I was packing up that I noticed my sleeping mat and dog mat had a couple wet spots. I did hang the tent and tarp to dry before packing up with direct sun for 30 minutes and gave it a quick wipe down, was good to go.

Very impressed. Almost every tent I've camped in has had condensation or the rain fly leaks and drips into the tent. This past week I went backpacking (pacific northwest) and was debating hanging a tarp over the tent, just incase, better safe than sorry, especially with my prior experiences with other tents. I didn't hang the tarp and a monsoon with high winds hit that night. I was nervous, the entire tent is basically a mesh screen! well, this will put it to the test. All night I was waiting for water to seep in or drip on my forehead. Nothing! I was super stoaked! There wasn't even any condensation, with the tent being mainly mesh screen, there is great ventilation. So for the price, easy setup, and most of all DRYNESS!! I highly recommend this tent.

the tent has only 2 poles yet is sturdy as a 4-pole tent; not only that, but i was able to set it up for the first time in under 10mjnutes by myself. as for the carrying bag, it expands to fit the polebag,stake-bag, and a weanas tarp that i bought for a ground-sheet. all-around well worth what i payed, and then some!

UPDATE: Weanas customer service replied to me after seeing my original review and offered to replace the rainfly with faulty zipper at no charge. It showed up four days later. Their customer service was very friendly and helpful.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I do like the tent. It's waterproof, compact and lightweight. However, one of the zippers on the rainfly became separated and the rainfly no longer closes. I attempted to contact the company about a replacement rainfly but the company has nonexistent customer service. Their web site does not list contact phone numbers or email ([...]). I attempted to send email to [email protected] (found this address on Facebook's page) and the email bounced. So beware.
