I got this as a gift for a friend. When he opened it and we both tried it out, we came to discover that it is almost entirely impossible to get it to spin at all. On the rare occasion that your fingers can get enough grip on the slippery, smooth "handle," it will spin for maybe a few seconds before falling down. He keeps it now as more of a joke than as an actual spinner. My advice is to get this in a material that is light enough that your fingers can actually spin it. Steel--combined with how smooth, thin, and tapered the grip section is--is simply too heavy to use.

This is an amazing little top! It is small enough to fit in my pocket with no worries if it would get scratched up. The construction is a sound, perfectly balanced top. I play with it often looking for the perfect surface to use it on.

Really Disappointed. Was not well balanced at all, would only spin for 15-20 seconds when I could get it to spin at all. Poor packaging as well for $47 you would think they would spring for a nice box, it was so small I almost missed it because it came with something else I ordered. The little box was flimsy and filled with straw, expected a much more upscale item. I was going to give it as a gift but it looks to cheap and it really does not work that well.
