smaller size fits perfectly
w. watty•June 18, 2018
put this on my schwinn mountain bike.. this bag fits it perfectly. 2 side pockets big enuf to hold all my tools in 1 pocket.. granola bars/poncho etc. in the other. The main compartment is padded all around and I'm sure helps with insulating if you carry a cold snack or sandwich with those blue ice packs.. could also hold a spare inner tube.. whatever you may need.. a smaller pocket inside the main compartment is perfect for your license, credit card, cash or whatever. 2 straps underneath and 1 under the seat keep it secure. Seems well enuf made.. zippers are smooth.. It was shipped in a large box to retain its shape.. it's not shipped all rolled up or flat.. stays upright even when empty.
Good sturdy trunk pannier.

Good sturdy trunk pannier at a reasonable price.
Securing straps are durable & adequate.
The wedge shape fits most bikes.
For minimalist touring, this bag is ideal. It holds the essentials (flipflops, street shorts & shirt, toiletries, snacks, etc.) but has bungees on top for extra space.
It is not waterproof..... not even close. But if you pack your stuff in gallon ziplocks it doesn't matter all that much. My only real complaint is that I have not found a clip on tail-light that is compatible with the loop on the back. With a waterbottle in place it's ok, but without the bottle in place my light was useless because it pointed down at the ground & the light became a road casualty when drawing the bottle out while riding. An optional integrated designed light would be appreciated, rather than trial & error lights.

Shape Limits Useable Space, Very Small Side Pockets
C Smith•May 15, 2018
It looks like a well made bag, but it is smaller than it looks. Height difference from front to back is aerodynamic, but limits useable space. The narrow side pockets also are smaller front to back, making it impossible to zip them when I try to squeeze my heavy duty combination locking cable in. Since I won't leave an easily stolen bag on the rack when I lock my bike in a public place, it would be nice to have a bag big enough to hold my helmet. If you don't need very much space and don't mind lugging your helmet around if you stop at a restaurant, this stylish bag is for you. It is almost, but not quite big enough to fit my needs.
Good Deal!

I usually tour with a handlebar bag but now that I am firm believer in the Jones Loop bar, that kind of limits my options. Jones and others do make some but they are not easily removable and get in the way of your hands. Not to mention expensive. I use an OMM front Sherpa so decided on a small trunk bag which are not common I have learned. However this one is a near perfect fit. My rack top is about 5.5 x 10.5" and there is very little overhang but since the bag has a rigid bottom I could get by with even more. Very well made and ticks all of the boxes. I can't believe how many trunk bags aren't designed for shoulder straps but this is and even comes with one. I'll even have less wind resistance than my blocky handlebar bag since this has an angled front. I will miss being able to attach and detach my handlebar bag with the klickfix mount but can't have everything.
For $25, this is a ridiculously good deal. I would easily pay 2 to almost three times as much. Had I not found this I was going to get the Arkel Tailrider whidh was recommended by OMM but this one is a better fit.

Worthy addition to commuting and recreation bike
Mr Apollo•June 21, 2017
There is a lot to like about this bag. I wanted something with capacity between a below-saddle bag and a backpack to carry bike tools, spare tubes, rain gear, food, and a second water bottle. It would be left on the bike on commuting days (very secure parking) and would be removed when parked during short recreation trips -- then the bag would be a place to carry detached bike lights and bike computer. For longer trips with more gear, it would supplement a backpack. This bag plays the intended roles very well.
My favorite features are the side pouches to organize different small gear, the stretchy straps on the lid of the main compartment under which I stuff a rolled-up raincoat or other extra clothes, and the stretchy strap in the water bottle pouch which helps to keep the bottle from flying out on a bumpy path. Also I like having three points of rack attachment -- two straps on the underside and one in the front. This does not move around on my rack at all when lightly loaded, yet it is quick to attach and detach after a little practice.
I carry a pump on the frame instead of on the bag, and I might use the pump strap to hold one leg of a light photo tripod.
The zippers feel good, and I respect the fit and finish overall. Looks like it will last years. Highly recommended.
