I ordered this heater after our 25 year old heater finally bit the dust. Of course anyone who has a water bed knows installing a new heater is just a pain. So we drained the bed, installed the new heater and waited three days sleeping on a regular bed which isn't fun. Water bed was awesome after three days. We had to actually turn the heater down because the bed was too warm. Lasted a week then the heater quit. Not sure why. I contacted Amazon and the company sent a replacement fairly quickly. This company is in Canada so it does take a few days. Then it was drain the bed AGAIN, install the new heater, refill the bed and wait. Plus having to take the broken heater 45 minutes away to ship. But the new heater has been working great for almost a month now. The biggest pain was having to drain and refill the bed twice but the company replaced the broken heater quickly.
