Solid bike, solid buy

So I haven't had a bike in quite a long time. I had been wanting to start riding again and I believe I chose the right one to do so. First I knew I didn't want to deal with so many different gears and also wanted a bike that is easy for me to maintain. This bike offers that. Also I think the addition of the flip-flop hub is ingenious as it offers new riders who aren't used to a fixed gear to become accustomed to it at their own pace, it also offers the rider a chance to just cruise on the bike if they're not in a mood to race everywhere they go. The bike has solid build. I was hesitant of the wheels since I am a good 190lbs but they have held out well. I mostly ride on pavement and sidewalks and haven't had problems on it. Amazon did a good job packaging, all pieces came in great condition. I have only been riding the bike for about 2 weeks and so far no problems have arised. All in all, I believe this was a solid purchase.
Slightly Underwhelmed

I don't own a car, and so I needed an urban bike to commute to locations around my college, and looked into the Juliet, which received rave reviews, both online and from friends. I couldn't locate a retailer, so I bought my bike online. Not to say that I wasn't satisfied with my purchase, but I was't quite as impressive as I'd hoped I'd be.

Positives: Very light frame, easy and user friendly set-up, and pretty enjoyable to ride in general

Negatives: I'm not sure if these are just anomalies with my specific bike, but here are some issues I had.

Within the first week of riding, my tire tube punctured. This is less of an issue with the bike itself, and more of a slight confusion, because all the good reviews I read concerning the default parts Pure Fix use. Any bike, regardless of quality, is susceptible to such problems. Less of a grievance, more of a slight annoyance. My main issue I have is with the seat, which a friend the exact same issue with. I've owned the bike for about a month now, and I have constant problems with having to constantly adjust the seat. About every 4 days or so of use yields an extremely loose seat mount, which I have to constantly retighten. Such a headache! It's frustrating for such a decent bike to feature a malfunction that makes it seem cheap. Expected more here.
They are very sturdy, reliable

This is my second purchase of an original Pure Fix bike (I came back for a second one since my first bike, the Victor, was stolen). They are very sturdy, reliable, affordable bikes and probably the best looking out there - I can't count how many times I've gotten compliments on both bikes. A few things to note: the bike only comes with a front brake, so especially if you plan on riding single speed you might want to purchase a separate back brake from the Pure Fix site. Also the teal blue color of the wheel hubs on the Delta model seems a bit darker to me in person than appears in the photos. One of the only down sides is that the brake pads are not the highest quality and seem to wear down fairly quickly, but these can be replaced easily and cheaply (~$20-$40). A great bike, highly recommended!
Buy a good tire and tube when you buy this for just ...

The rear wheel was assembled as single gear at default you need to flip the wheel to the fixed gear side. Don't forget to flip the tire matching the rotational direction. All parts are loose. Tighten eveything, break, saddle (not only the one to adjust the hight but the angle of the saddle), even screws for cup holders. I rode, about 300 miles and had the first flat. Typical for new bike which uses cheap tires. Buy a good tire and tube when you buy this for just in case, which would happen soon or sooner. Choose a tube with long valve length. 42mm valve won't fit to the deep v shaped wheels.
I have 4 stars because I am a keen reviewer. I save 5 stars for an excellent product, but my 4 is equivalent to 5 for others.
I love the bike a lot. It took me a week to get used to with fixed bike. I still cannot skid, but resisting the spin sufficiently slows and stops. The skid may require pedal covers, but that seems too much for me.
A great first fixie experience

I got the Tango-2 which comes in Dove Grey / White.

Arrived within two days with Prime so I could ride it in time for the weekend. It came well-packaged in a standard cardboard bicycle box, lots of foam paper, taping and bubble wrap to protect the frame and parts. I found the easiest way to take it out was to pull the whole bike out in one go rather than fish pieces out one by one. It comes with a few extras including front and back reflectors, a sticker pack, and a detailed owner's manual.

I'm a first time bike builder so I had to go buy some tools including a hex key set, pedal wrench, and tire pump. Putting together the bike was a piece of cake, I'd say the only mildly challenging part was to remove the back wheel in order to flip it (making use of the very convenient flip-flop hub) so that it ran on the fixed cog instead of freewheel. I'd say the best thing is to watch one of the YouTube PureFix videos (the newer ones with George the mechanic).

In terms of looks the bike is real snazzy. The road is also pretty good. I haven't really put it through its paces yet but so far so good cycling around my neighborhood. I'm 5'10 with an inseam of 32" so the 54cm bike was perfect.

Next i'll be wanting to purchase some straps and bullhorn handlebars.
