Installed easily, two safety bolts a little tedious but not terrible to mount to seat rails, I did put a little Loctite on the bolt threads for insurance My factory post single bolt would never stay tight. I turned the spring tension adjuster in about 3/4 of a turn and I weigh 245lbs, smooth suspension on city streets. Super value for the dollars spent!!
this product is great. It offers good construction and a comfortable ride

If you're looking for a dropper post, buy a dropper post. If you're looking for a suspension seat post because you just can't justify the expense of a dropper post, this product is great. It offers good construction and a comfortable ride. Providing a four star review simply because I would have preferred a bit more travel in the saddle elevation adjustment.
I have an XLC suspension post and that one moves up and down very smoothly and the spring seems to work better to lighter people < 150 lbs

Works as advertised but spring movement is not smooth. I weight 145 lbs and it works just ok with the spring dialed back. When I lean on it, it moves up and down but still think its too stiff when dialed all the way back. Would I get it again? No. I have an XLC suspension post and that one moves up and down very smoothly and the spring seems to work better to lighter people < 150 lbs.
This performed great to my surprise

I tried out an all suspension mountain bike the other day and wow, what a difference when jumping a 6" curb while seated but decided to give this a try on my hardtail mountain bike. I just got it today and jumped same size curb and braced myself for the bounce. WIth this seat post no hard hit when I landed the back tire while seated. This performed great to my surprise. Not overly bouncy but not too stiff like my current post. Can't wait to try it out mountain biking. My guess is about 1/2 of what an all suspension bike does but way better than a stiff post. Hopefully it lasts and does just as well on the trails. Only reason for not giving it a 5 star is because there are ZERO instructions with it. Looks like an allen wrench tightens or loosens the internal spring.
So far so good!

I found this to be very nice initially, smoothed out the road a bit and made riding more comfortable.

This came with no set up instructions, but I played around with it for a while and got it dialed in.

I'm a big guy- 6'1" 220, on initial installation the suspension felt very plush- but put a zip-tie tight on the plunger and slid it down to the fixed portion of the seat post- so that when you sit on the seat you can see how far the plunger has traveled by how far the zip tie has moved. With my full weight on the seat, the plunger compressed almost all of the available travel- so screwed the pre-load adustment in until I had about a half inch of movement with my weight in the saddle, leaving plenty to soak up the bumps in the road. Bottoming out on this type of suspension will probably hurt more than just the bump in the road alone. I'll probably ride with this for a while and update he review, but initially, seems money sell spent.
