Great small animal bedding!! My guinea pigs love to lay in it and stretch out. It's much better than the recycled paper bedding I used to use. The recycled bedding always had a strange smell; this bedding has no smell to it....what a relief!!!

My daughter's hamster, Peaches, is happy to burrow down into this bedding. She has designed intricate tunnels in this fluff. Best of all, it obsorbs odors better than other bedding we have tried. We are not having to change it as often. This bedding is all natural, a good environment for our pet.

This bedding is much better than any other bedding we have used for our guinea pigs. Their previous bedding (carefresh) caused their cage to stink like pee within 1-2 days. With this bedding they can go 5-7 days between cage cleanings without a stink. Their cage is home-made and when we clean it we do the following: sprinkle baking soda on the plastic cage bottom, followed by a layer of puppy pads (absorbent facing up!), followed by a fleece liner, and then a ~2 inch layer of pure comfort bedding. We use binder clips to secure the fleece to the sides of their plastic cage liner so they can't get under it. To clean we undo the binder clips, gather up the corners of the fleece with the pure comfort bedding inside, and shake it off into our compost bin. We also replace the puppy pads and wipe out the plastic cage liner and sprinkler new baking soda there. Works great!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Oxbow! I used to buy Carefresh Natural bedding for my rats, but recently they started adding a reddish dye that also has a suspicious chemical fragrance (9 yo DS smelled it in a second). Wanting to find a truly natural product, I found a couple of options and chose this one based on the positive reviews. Neither I nor my rats have been disappointed! No dust that I can tell, soft, and totally natural - smells and looks like cardboard, as it should.

This was our third bedding purchase in an attempt to find the perfect fit. This is perfect for us and our hamster! The hamster loves it because he can fluff it up and bury himself. The humans in the house like it because it's very absorbent and contains odors very well. We can easily go 1 1/2 weeks before changing out the bedding.
