I bought this to stuff my own pillows. Volume is good, but there are dark grey feathers and also twisted, matted, dirty, poor quality feathers in there. Not a ton, but come on. And I found a long, straight, black human hair in the feathers.
The biggest problem by far is the high percentage of sharp feather shafts which poke through the ticking and pillow cover. I'm constantly pulling these through and every night feeling constant annoying jabs from strong, sharp, pokey feather shafts. Not sure how much longer I'm going to take it. Aggravating.
The marketing is very well done and gives the impression of a caring, ethical company that produces high quality products. I think the marketing department of this company is totally separate from the production facility, absolutely nothing to do with each other. Good job, you fooled me.

This is definitely NOT 950fp. I weighed out 1oz on a digital scale accurate to .01oz, put it in a paper tube and measured the height the down occupied and it came out to 778fp. Both US and EU down rating protocols call for a compressive weight to be placed on top of the down before measuring. That brought it down to 424fp. Prior to measuring I gave it 24 hours to loft and shook it for several minutes. Various aspects of the test protocol I won't get in to here excuse a good deal of the difference in compressed value, but the uncompressed value should absolutely be greater than the claimed rating. At best, this is 700fp. This is not at all what I wanted and I'm very disappointed with this seller.

After buying and using this product, I've heard everything from "Did your cat kill the canary?", "Are you sacrificing chickens in your house" and everything in between since I literally had feathers from one end of the house to the other. However, that is a GOOD thing! When I received this package I wasn't expecting much since it came compacted to about the size of a standard bed pillow, severely flattened. Upon opening this package and letting the feathers fly so to speak, it filled up 2 large Amazon boxes full of beautiful, fluffy, white and full feathers!
I purchased this to fill in some flattened couch cushions for the back of my couch. Each cushion is about 30" wide and I had to fill it up about 1/4 of the way to get to the comfort level I was looking for. I was able to fill up 2 pillows pretty packed with this package size. Hopefully this will give others an estimate on how many feathers are in this package. Great deal, great idea and I will be buying more. Just BEWARE before you start opening these....you WILL have feathers, feathers everywhere! :)

Arrived more quickly than estimated, and product was exactly as described. I used 16 oz of the 95%, 800-fill power goose down to make an insanely-fluffy backpacking quilt. The loft turned out as calculated, and I did not notice any feathers while hand stuffing the down. This was exactly what I needed at an amazing price. I'll be ordering more for my next projects.
