Haven't had the chance to really use the set yet because we are still getting the lawn in shape for a game. But the set overall seems to be well made and sturdy. The only exception is the paint on the croquet balls. Just putting around the yard a little bit and the paint on one of the balls is already chipping off. So I imagine that in no time the paint will be a mess of chipped areas on all of the croquet balls. So that is why I only gave it four stars.

I bought this unit and when it arrived it only had 1 painted stake and 6 wickets. The instructions in the bag were for a game that only required 1 colored stake and 6 wickets. So not sure what is being sold but it does not include 9 wickets or 2 colored stakes.

carry case handle broke the first time I carried it. Item may look classy and all but don't be fool, after all its probably China made. Item is probably only worth 100usd in my opinion, too bad I took it overseas, and can't refund them.
