Works like a charm

Bought this for my 02 F150. I've had my truck for about 3 years and since the bery beginning it leaked. I finally decided to give this plug a try and it basically got rid of the issue. I say basically because I'd be lying if I said it stopped completely. However it only drips maybe one or two drops throughout the day, saving me about a quart of oil every month. I highly recommend buying this plug.

As advertised, a perfect fit for my 2014 Town & Country. A whole lot better and cheaper than getting a whole oil pan and bolt replacement, which was the only option offered by local O'Reilly, Pep Boys, and Auto Zone stores.

Does not fit correctly and install damaged the threads. I verified that this plug should fit my 3.0 liter Ford V6 at the SMART-O website and it's just not the correct plug for this application. Buyer beware! A waste of money in my case.

After seven years of oil changing my wranglers drain plug was starting to wear on the corners and cause some wrench slippage. This one was half the price of the dealers so I clicked the button . Never realized that drain plugs could vary in quality. This thing is quite the piece of engineering... and fairly attractive for a drain plug... but yes it fits, it's better than the OEM, and it's half the price.

Arrived on time.
However, this item did NOT fit my vehicle, '07 base model mini R56! It was too small and went right into the drain hole without even touching the existing threads! This is the second time i have ordered an oil drain plug and received the wrong size plug! The last time was at a local parts store, which prompted me to order one that claims it fit.
That being said, i can say that when i went to place the plug and it went into the hole and was in contact with oil, the green product DID swell considerably! I noticed it after i removed the plug, wiped it off with a rag, laid it on the ground and said some swear words.
I gave it 4 stars because i witnessed how it worked and with it being less than $10 i didn't get upset and contact seller for return, but be aware it may not fit your mini!
Note: the drain plug i have in place on my mini utilizes a torx bit to remove not a hex head socket.
