I bought this for my sister after she had a foot amputated. We noticed after a month or so, that the seat and the part that goes into the toilet were separating. Used duck tape to hold it together. Not sure is there is anything else that wouldn't fall apart so soon.
One side broke which rendered it useless in directing waste only into toilet rather than circling ...

This product lasted exactly 6 months with a 205 pound man who has Parkinson's. First the splash guard is attached by molded plastic fitting with screws. One side broke which rendered it useless in directing waste only into toilet rather than circling the bowl because the circle was no longer sealed. Then because that piece was broken, the toilet seat became unstable causing patient to slip on it and breaking the entire porcelain toilet into pieces which needed to be replaced. It looks very nice superficially but we found out the hard way that it is unreliable and outright dangerous. Not a happy camper.
Easy and straightforward to assemble

Straightforward and easy to assemble. Great if like us you have multiple toilets of different dimensions. You don't have to worry about the dimension of the toilet. Also, as a taller person I was still concerned about bowl height even with a 4" rise. This allowed me to maximize height and minimize bending.

I just had back surgery and needed the height of this item. I'm a size 14-16 and found this seat very difficult to use. It's a tad narrow which makes it difficult to get in to. Let alone every other detail that you need to perform after you're done using it. It has height adjustments but I wish it had width adjustments as well. Other than that, it's very sturdy.
